Review: The Thames Head Inn - near Cirencester π½
A quaint little pub thatβs dog-friendly and has a cosy atmosphere. Not the best for those with babies or small toddlers/children, though.

An up-market restaurant featuring Asian fusion dishes and a great brunch menu - a fab spot to take you from day to night drinks with friends.
Review: Burra - Redland, Bristol π½
If youβre looking for a good brunch spot, look no further. Itβs a small, yet beautifully formed cafe just off of Whiteladies Road near Clifton. Expect a little wait, but the food and friendly staff make it worth it.
Review: Untamed π

Review: The Secret Diaries of Charles Ignatius Sancho π
A delightful book based on the real-life of Charles Ignatius Sancho, the first black person to vote in England. Itβs a vibrant tale that weaves fact with fiction, breathing life into this interesting man. A perfect Christmas gift for any reader, but particularly fans of historic and period fiction.
Review: Cowbee, Bristol π½
Cowbee is a dessert and burger spot in the centre of town, right near College Green. Although it was really tasty the first time we ventured there, on second visit, it was in need of some improvements.
Review: Mokoko, Box Makers Yard, Bristol π§
This new Mokoko cafe is the latest in the chainβs stores to open and is a great addition to the Temple Quay area. With a nice atmosphere and delicious pastries, itβs a brilliant spot to meet friends or do a bit of work.
