Review: 25A Old Market, Bristol ☕️

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Price: £££

One of our most favourite coffee places in all of Bristol. We probably go here once a week, at least. If you need a place to chill, meet friends or grab a quick coffee on your commute, choose 25A. The staff are always super friendly and have great coffee knowledge - they’re happy to recommend beans when asked and are usually on the money.

My usual order is black filter coffee. I love the variety of batch brews they offer (it gets sold out quite quickly, which is a shame, but I can understand why!). Their brunch menu is great - I particularly recommend the poached eggs and bacon on sourdough toast. The food looks quite fancy and I applaud the effort they take in the presentation.

For cakes and pastries, they have a collab going with Pinkmans Bakery. What they have is always tasty; however, my only (constructive) criticism would be it’d be great if they switched up the choices every once in a while, as it can get a little boring, especially as Pinkmans offer quite a wide range of treats. All in all, you can’t go wrong with checking this place out. I haven’t been yet, but their tapas evenings sound fab, and I love how they’ve diversified over the course of the pandemic to meet their customers needs. It’s got such a good community vibe. Will keep coming back every time.
