Review: The Met - Whiteladies Road, Bristol 🍽
An up-market restaurant featuring Asian fusion dishes and a great brunch menu - a fab spot to take you from day to night drinks with friends.
Review: Burra - Redland, Bristol 🍽
If you’re looking for a good brunch spot, look no further. It’s a small, yet beautifully formed cafe just off of Whiteladies Road near Clifton. Expect a little wait, but the food and friendly staff make it worth it.
Review: Cowbee, Bristol 🍽
Cowbee is a dessert and burger spot in the centre of town, right near College Green. Although it was really tasty the first time we ventured there, on second visit, it was in need of some improvements.
Review: Mokoko, Box Makers Yard, Bristol 🧁
This new Mokoko cafe is the latest in the chain’s stores to open and is a great addition to the Temple Quay area. With a nice atmosphere and delicious pastries, it’s a brilliant spot to meet friends or do a bit of work.
Review: Hobbs House Bakery, Chipping Sodbury 🧁
Hobbs House Bakery has been around for over a hundred years, since the 1920’s! They specialise in making amazing bread, but also offer pastries and cakes, coffees, and even frozen pastries and pizza bases to bake at home.
Review: Hotel du Vin, Bristol 🛏️
Hotel du Vin is a somewhat luxurious hotel situated in Bristol city centre, close to both the waterfront and the main shopping areas. The rooms are large, very clean and well appointed, with great amenities.
Review: Wingstop, Bristol 🍽
A good spot for a quick bite, although a little pricier than most fast food chains. The wings are tasty and offer lots of different flavour choices; the sides are a bit ‘meh’. Go if you’re hungry and need something fast.
Review: Milk Bun, Bristol 🍽
A disappointing visit to Milk Bun, a small burger restaurant in the heart of Clifton Village, Bristol. The food was reasonably tasty (I’ve had better burgers in Bristol), but the service was not good.
Review: 25A Old Market, Bristol ☕️
25A is a really special little coffee spot just on Old Market Street, a stone’s throw from Cabot Circus. They offer great espresso-based drinks and filter batch brew, as well as some delicious brunch options and dry goods for your pantry.
